Fire Protective Coating is specially formulated, asbestos-free, fire retardant coating for use on electrical or other cables to enhance fire resistance or provide extended circuit integrity under emergency conditions. Its application is recommended on cable runs, in cable vaults & galleries at selected intervals to serve as a firebreak.
When exposed to fire or high heat, the coating shields the cables & trays, thereby retarding the penetration of heat and propagation of flames.
